Career Highlights
Daniel Fresco is a Bronx-born, NYC-based professional drummer who brings a powerful energy, both to renowned stages and recording studios. He started playing drums at the age of eight in church, where his gift for pocket and feel became apparent. In his teens, Fresco performed in front of the entire student body of his high school, solidifying his passion for live performance!
As a student of renowned trumpeter Ray Vega, he played congas/timbales for the University of Vermont Latin Jazz ensemble, honoring his Afro-Cuban/Puerto-Rican heritage. Later, he got to open for Afroman, Snarky Puppy, Galactic, Alan Evans Trio, Addison Groove Project and The Roots after winning UVM Battle of the Bands with his college funk-jam band Potbelly.
In 2021 Fresco recorded a full-length project with up-and-coming pop singer Clover at the legendary Electric Lady Studios. Then in 2022-2024 Fresco toured the US, Canada, and Asia with RCA Artist Dhruv and was mentioned in Rolling Stone UK: “…his playing was impassioned and enlivened, elevating all the emotion of the song in powerful musical form.” Next, Fresco will embark on the 2025 Private Blizzard Tour with Dhruv all over the United States, Canada, U.K. and Europe!
Summer 2024 we played at Forest Hills Stadium and the famous El Rey Theatre!
In 2023 we headlined Dhruv’s Asia Tour!
I also got to play a sold-out show for Spotify Stages with Warner Artist, RINI!
